This retreat provides a gentle introduction, it assumes no prior experience, making it accessible and welcoming for beginners. It is also focuses on fundamental aspects of yoga, such as breath awareness, basic poses (asanas), and Sun Salutations.
Yin yoga encourages mindfulness and presence. By holding poses for longer durations, you learn to listen to your body, observe sensations, and cultivate inner awareness. Combining Yin (stillness) with Yang (flow) practices creates balance. Yin Poses complement the more dynamic Sun Salutations, providing a holistic experience.

Day 1 : Foundations of Asana Practice

Learn basic poses, including Cat & Cow, Mountain Pose, Triangle Pose, and Downward Facing Dog.
Introduction to Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar).
Dive into Yin Poses to enhance flexibility and relaxation. -
Day 2: Flow and Balance
Continue with Sun Salutation practice.
Explore standing balance poses, such as Warrior Pose.
Immerse yourself in more Yin Poses for a holistic experience. -
Day 3: Flow and Twist
Flow through Sun Salutations with grace.
Discover twisting poses to detoxify and energize.
Conclude with additional Yin Poses to restore and nourish.

Malika Makiko
Malika has dedicated herself to living in the present moment, seeking wisdom from both internal and external environments. She draws inspiration from these experiences and shares them in her yoga classes, blending movement and stillness to enrich her teaching.
Her 17 years in Bali have been transformative, allowing her to develop a holistic approach to well-being. This comprehensive perspective extends to offering various treatments aimed at enhancing individual health and wellness.
Malika’s teachings reflect her deep commitment to helping others achieve balance and well-being. Her journey and experiences in Bali have deeply influenced her practice, providing her with a unique perspective that she brings to her students.
Malika is of Japanese nationality and is fluent in Japanese, English, and Indonesian, enabling her to connect with a diverse range of students.
