1. The Yoga Barn Branch
The Yoga Barn is operated by PT Yoga Barn, with a business address at Jalan Sukma Kesuma Peliatan Kecamatan Ubud Kabupaten Gianyar Bali 80571 Indonesia (“The Company”) whose principal objective is to provide health, yoga activities and wellness facilities for The Yoga Barn customers and their Guests. The Company has appointed a Management team (“The Management”), who is responsible for the operation of The Yoga Barn.
2. Drop-In Class, Class cards and Unlimited class card terms
2.1 Drop-In Class:
A single class pass is a one time purchase to attend a chosen single class from The Yoga Barn schedule and it does not give any other access to other classes. It is also non-assignable, non-transferable and non-refundable
2.2 Class card:
A Class card is multi-class one time purchase that allows the card holder to attend several classes as per the limit of the card and for a limited period time
- 3, 5 and 10 classes cards are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase
- 20 classes card is valid for a period of 60 days from the date of purchase
2.3 30-day Unlimited class card:
The 30 days unlimited class card is a one time purchase that allows the card holder to attend for a period of 30 days an unlimited number of classes, from the date of purchase.
A class card is personal to the card holder and is non-assignable, non-transferable and non-refundable. A card holder may not loan his/her card or permit it to be used by anyone with no exception. Drop-in classes and class cards are subject to the Rules & Regulations of The Yoga Barn which may be amended by the management at any time.
The management reserves the right to add, substitute and cancel any activities or classes from its schedule as deemed necessary to provide a better service and experience to the customers.
Class cards and Unlimited class cards do not include Friday and Sunday Ecstatic dance, workshops or Night Events.
3. Studio guidelines
3.1 Class registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and takes place in the Lower Reception. At this time, you cannot pre-pay or pre-book classes.
3.2 Daily classes range from 60 mins to 120 mins, depending on the subject type and are priced accordingly.
3.3 Classes are mostly Open Level, unless labeled otherwise on the schedule. Registration opens 30 minutes before for day classes and 1 hour before for evening classes (those starting at 7:30 pm or 8pm).
3.4 Ecstatic Dance and Sunday Dance are our most popular classes and have special registration rules, see here.
3.5 Class Entrance is closed 10 minutes after the scheduled start time. Exception: Yoga Nidra class is closed for registration and entry 5 minutes after the class starts.
3.6 For daily classes, Children under the age of 10 are not permitted to join classes, there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. With the exception of the Yoga Barn Menagerie, no pets are allowed in classes.
3.7 Photos, selfies and video are strictly prohibited, turn off your cell phone before the first OM.
3.8 Each studio/class has a maximum number of participants allowed in the room, once registration has reached is maximum slot capacity, the class is considered full. NO EXCEPTION will be made to squeeze extra students as it becomes uncomfortable for the group as a whole.
3.9 Respect the teacher and your neighbors, please practice as instructed by the teacher and do not practice your own series.
3.10 Consider your neighbors on the mat next to you and make sure you are fresh and clean and not wearing cologne or perfume. Showers are located on site and towels are available for rent.
3.11 Silence must be observed during the class, especially during Savasana where you integrate all you have absorbed during the class.
3.12 Clean up your space at the end of the class by picking up your props and mats and put it back in the designated areas as instructed by the teacher if not obvious.
3.13 If exiting early, do not leave during Savasana, figure out the best way to leave silently by respect for the rest of the group. If you have no option, leave your mats and props where they are.
4. Customer’s health and physical condition
4.1 The customer confirms that he/she is in good physical condition and that he/she knows of no medical or other reason why he/she is not capable of engaging in active or passive exercise and that such exercise would not be detrimental to his/her health, safety, comfort or physical condition.
4.2 The customer shall not use any Yoga Barn facilities whilst suffering from any infections or contagious illness, disease or other ailment such as open cuts, abrasions, open sores or minor infection, where there is a risk that such use may be detrimental to the health, safety, comfort or physical condition of the other customers.
5. The management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone
The Management may cancel and terminate of any customer:
5.1 Without notice and with immediate effect if a customer’s conduct, whether or not such conduct is the subject of complaint by another customer or customers, is such that in the reasonable opinion of the Management, it is harmful to the character and/or interests of The Yoga Barn.
5.2 Without prior notice and effective immediately, the customer has committed any breach of the Code of conduct and ethics of The Yoga Barn as are from time to time in force.
5.3 Upon notice, if the Management is of the opinion that the customer is not a suitable individual for continued Participation in the class at The Yoga Barn.
5.4 Without prior notice and effective immediately, any customer found to have violated the privacy of any other customer within the shower and the changing rooms or are caught in lewd acts or compromising actions.
5.5 Without prior notice and effective immediately, any customer found to have engaged in theft from another customer within The Yoga Barn premises will be subject to immediate dismissal and ban.
6. Operational Hours
The Yoga Barn classes operate from 7am until 9pm and the gates are opened from 6:30am to 10pm. The Management reserves the right to adjust the hours for purposes of cleaning, decorating, repairs, special private functions, events and holidays. The Management shall endeavor to give reasonable notice of any change in these operational hours.
7. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond its reasonable control including, without limitation: acts of God, fire, flood, explosion, earthquake, or other natural forces, pandemic, war, civil unrest, accident, any strike or labor disturbance, or any other event similar to those enumerated above. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event of such an occurrence, each party agrees to make a good faith effort to perform its obligations in this agreement.
8. Others
8.1 Children under the age of 10 years are not allowed into the premises without a legal guardian or parents.
8.2 Promoting or selling personal sessions or other goods and services by a customer to other customers is strictly prohibited and will result in the temporary ban of the customer in question.
8.3 The Management reserves the right to use any individual or group photographs of customers and/or Guests for press or promotional purposes.
8.4 The failure of the Management or the Company to enforce any of their respective rights at any time for any period shall not be construed as a waiver of such rights.
8.5 These Rules shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia and subject to the jurisdiction of Indonesia.
9. Privacy policy
9.1 Provision of personal data
The Company recognises the importance of the personal data you have entrusted to us and believe that it is our responsibility to properly manage, protect and process your personal data. You understand, acknowledge and consent to the Company processing, collecting and using your personal data for the following purposes.
Processing, administering and managing your Yoga Barn profile.
Processing any transactions or payments made by you and to maintain payment records contacting you or communicating with you via telephone call, text message, email and/or postal mail for the purposes of processing, administering and managing your Yoga Barn profile
For publicity purposes and conducting research, analysis and development activities (including but not limited to data analytics, surveys and/or profiling) to improve our services and facilities in order to enhance the services we provide to you, where you have consented for the Company to do so.
Record-keeping purposes.
Responding to legal process, pursuing legal rights and remedies, defending litigation and managing any complaints or claims.
Storing, hosting and/or backing up (whether for disaster recovery or otherwise) your personal data.
Your personal data may be used, disclosed, maintained, accessed, processed and/or transferred to the following third parties: The Company’s head office, affiliates and subsidiaries.
9.2 Cookies
Our website may use cookies to enhance user experience. Users can choose to disable cookies through their browser settings, although this may impact certain functionalities.
9.3 Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control the privacy practices of the external sites and encourage users to review the privacy policies of such websites
9.4 Data sharing
We do not sell, trade or rent users’ personal information to third parties. However, we may share information with trustee third parties who assist us in conducting our business, provided they agree to keep the user’s information confidential.
9.5 Consent

10. Code of conduct and ethics
At The Yoga Barn, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all members of our community. The following Code of Conduct and Ethics outlines the principles and guidelines that guide our interactions and practices:
10. 1 Respect and inclusivity:
Treat every individual with kindness, dignity and respect. Embrace and celebrate diversity, ensuring that our space is inclusive and welcoming to people of all backgrounds, abilities and identities.
10. 2 Mindful practice:
Practice mindfulness on and off the mat, fostering awareness of one’s actions, words and thoughts.
Refrain from judgment and competition, recognizing that yoga is a personal journey.
10. 3 Safety first:
Prioritize the safety and well-being of yourself and others during classes, events and workshops.
Communicate any health concern or injuries to the Facilitator before the session.
10. 4 Cleanliness:
Maintain personal hygiene and use clean yoga mats and props
Respect the cleanliness of communal spaces by promptly cleaning up after yourself.
10. 5 Mindful communication:
Practice a mindful and respectful communication, avoiding disruptive conversations during the classes, events and workshops
10. 6 Personal boundaries:
Respect the personal space and boundaries of others, both physical and verbal. Obtain consent before offering assistance or adjustment to a fellow practitioner.
10. 7 Confidentiality:
Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others, refrain of discussing others personal matters shared within the community
10. 8 Environmental consciousness:
Contribute to the well-being of our planet by minimizing our waste and being mindful of our ecological impact.
10. 9 Continuous learning:
Approach yoga with a lifelong journey of self discovery and growth. Be open to learning from our facilitators, fellow practitioners and diverse perspectives.
10. 10 Conflict resolution:
Address conflict peacefully and respectfully, seeking resolution through communication and understanding
10. 11 Practice gratitude:
Whether you enjoyed the class you took or felt it was not your style, please know that The Yoga Barn staff and faculty give 100% of themselves to provide you with the best experience possible. Many years of personal study has prepared our faculty to teach, and hours of prep goes into each class taught. There is a teacher for everybody and we hope that the Yoga Barn provides you with what you need for now.
10.12 Dress code:
for class and for walking in the streets of Ubud. Remember you are in Bali, a slightly more conservative Hindu culture that prefers modesty in the form of covered elbows, shoulders and thighs. This applies to both men and women. We have changing rooms for this purpose.
By adhering to this code conduct and ethics, we collectively contribute to the creation of a harmonious and uplifting yoga community. Any reported violation of these ethical and professional standards will be thoroughly investigated. Should it be determined that a breach of The Yoga Barn Code of Conduct and ethics’ agreement has occurred, we retain the right to dismiss the student involved.
11. Waiver of Liability
11.1 I/We hereby understand and acknowledge that the training, programs and events held by The Yoga Barn may expose me to many inherent risks, including accidents, injury, illness, or even death. I/We assume all risk of injuries associated with participation including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, and all other such risks being known and appreciated by me.
11.2 I/We hereby acknowledge my responsibility in communicating any physical and psychological concerns that might conflict with participation in activity. I/We acknowledge that I am physically fit and mentally capable of performing the physical activity I choose to participate in.
11.3 After having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of acceptance of my participation and The Yoga Barn furnishing services to me, I agree, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, to hold harmless, waive and release the Yoga Barn, its officers, employees, organizers, representatives, and successors from any responsibility, liabilities, demands, or claims of any kind arising out of my participation in the Yoga Barn’s classes, workshop and events.
