Suara Dunia – the sound of the world – is an immersive sound journey weaving together traditional chants, original songs, and vocal improvisation inspired by different musical traditions.
The voice is at the heart of Suara Dunia. Guided by Purnama, the journey moves between devotional Balinese chants, Amazonian-inspired melodies, original medicine songs and spontaneous vocal expressions, creating a fluid tapestry of voices, rhythms and frequencies.
The voice is accompanied by a landscape of acoustic and vibrational instruments – including 432 Hz crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, percussion and other resonant instruments – allowing the experience to move between rich layers of sound and moments of deep stillness.
You are invited to simply receive.
There is nothing to learn, nothing to perform and no prior experience required. Simply lie down, close your eyes, breathe, rest and allow the sounds to move through you. Suara Dunia is an invitation to remember that sound is something we all share.

A daughter of the enchanting Balinese jungles and Swiss mountains, Purnama is a Balinese-Swiss singer-songwriter, ceremonialist and teacher.
With a passion to unite people in a shared journey of music, beauty, and devotion, she creates sacred spaces infused with ritual and medicine music. Her artistic journey has been shaped by her experience of supporting diverse traditional ceremonies from indigenous nations around world. Through her ancestry – a lineage of Balinese priests and temple keepers – she carries a deep understanding of ceremony in her blood. This combination of heritage and experience is what makes her approach truly unique.
Purnama is committed to the cultural preservation of Bali and advocates for a more informed, conscious way for visitors to engage with the island. Having lived much of her life in the West, she naturally translates Balinese philosophy in ways that feel relatable, helping people connect with its heart while encouraging deeper appreciation for the wisdom, values, and cultural beauty of the island.
Alongside her work as a cultural bridge, Purnama teaches Yoga Philosophy in teacher trainings, sings in kirtans and at venues internationally, and shares her music and ceremonies with communities around the world.

If this event is canceled by The Yoga Barn prior to the start time, you are eligible for a refund of your ticket. We do not cover reimbursement of any associated booking fees that exceed our published ticket price. Please be aware that refunds may take up to 30 days.
If you are unable to attend this event, you are eligible for a full refund of the ticket price if you contact us at least 24 hours in advance of the published start time.
