The ‘Sound of Nomads’ presents a musical and storytelling odyssey curated by Catur Hari Wijaya and his ensemble of Sound Wanderers. Rooted in Catur’s passion for uncharted realms, ethnic music and folk traditions, this concert is an invitation to traverse space and time, delving into ancient roots while stirring memories and emotions.

Catur Hari Wijaya is a multi-instrumentalist musician, sound nomad and drum teacher who has been expressing and sharing music with communities as far back as his memory goes. Passionate about uniting traditional music styles, Catur’s compositions draw upon traditions from Indonesia, Africa, India and beyond.

During his life, Catur had the chance to study traditional music directly from great masters and in 2018, he visited Mali in West Africa, to deepen his musical knowledge and to experience the traditional context of drumming in the motherland of Djembe.

In 2021, Catur released his first solo album “Bali To Mali” available on all major music platforms. Currently, he’s putting the final touches on his second album, exploring new instruments and pushing new boundaries of sound.

What should I do if the event is canceled?

If this event is canceled by The Yoga Barn prior to the start time, you are eligible for a refund of your ticket. We do not cover reimbursement of any associated booking fees that exceed our published ticket price. Please be aware that refunds may take up to 30 days.

I bought my tickets but I can’t attend the event. What should I do?

If you are unable to attend this event, you are eligible for a full refund of the ticket price if you contact us at least 24 hours in advance of the published start time. Contact must be made via email to [email protected] or in person at The Yoga Barn reception desk. We are not able to process refunds for any reason if you contact us less than 24 hours prior to the published start time. We do not cover reimbursement of any associated booking fees that exceed our published ticket price.
