The night begins with a sacred opening blessing with angelic vocal chanting and duo handpans, guiding us into an atmosphere of celebration and spiritual connection.
Next, immerse yourself in beautiful music featuring a fusion of classic Chinese songs, ancient Chinese poems and mantras that are widely chanted among Buddhists and Bhakti lovers, created to deepen the experience of positive energy flow and new year meditation.
Another highlight of the night is a live musical collaboration between the Chinese and Balinese musicians. The performance will feature a fusion of pop and traditional music, incorporating both modern and ethnic instruments, including guitar, handpans, crystal singing bowls, flutes and Jew’s Harp. This cross-cultural musical fusion is designed to evoke a deep sense of unity and joy as we enter the New Year.
We conclude with a guided meditation and collective chanting, allowing us to align our energies and intentions for the year ahead. This event is an invitation to connect with like-minded souls and celebrate the beauty of music, culture, and spirituality as we embrace the potential of the New Year.

**Xixi (茜茜）**and John (身宁） are founders of Vayu Shining（楽愈声宁）, a leading Kirtan band based in China. In 2024 alone they organized over 30 Kirtan and handpan concerts across China.
Born in China, Xixi’s global journey began at the age of 4 when her family moved to South Africa. She later spent her teenage years in Singapore and graduated with a degree in Finance from the University of San Francisco. Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Japanese, Xixi’s multicultural background deeply influences her approach to music and spiritual connection. She is also a certified RYT-200 yoga instructor with 15+ years of dedicated practice, her deep connection to yoga creates an inspiring blend of sound and spirituality that resonates with listeners.
John is a talented multi instrumentalist who began his journey in world music in 2010, starting with djembes, didgeridoos and cajons. In 2015, he delved into handpan and spiritual music, becoming one of the early pioneers in promoting djembe and handpans in Xiamen. In 2018, his handpan and Djembe compositions and performances won recognition as one of the Top 10 Highlights of Xiamen’s Annual Spring Festival Gala. In 2022, John founded PanStone Handpan Studio to share the joy and techniques of handpan playing with more music enthusiasts. He specializes in guiding people to express emotions and release energy through music.
