Mala Making Workshop
w/ Aum Rudraksha Design
Saturday, July 13th
11:00am - 01:00pm

In the yogic tradition, Rudraksha are considered as the “Tears of Shiva,” and are much more than just a piece of jewellery, they are considered an instrument for spiritual transformation.”
Creating your own Mala is an extraordinary experience in Bali, made so by the potency and divine energy of the Rudraksha seeds.

Like a Rosary, a spiritual Rudraksha Mala that is used for prayer and meditation typically consists of 108 beads. In the Hindu tradition, it is believed that anyone who wears these beads has the blessings of all the three divine Hindu gods i.e., Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh, with him. In addition, it is believed that Rudraksha absorb and amplify positive energies, help individuals to align with their intentions, while increasing spiritual connection, reducing stress, and enhancing overall well-being.

In this workshop, we invite you to experience Bali on a deeper level and guide you in creating your personal Mala, where you will string your intentions together to generate the energy you need to transform personally.

You will be able to learn more about the benefits of the Rudraksha, and gemstones, as you thread your personalized Sacred Mala.
The visual beauty and known energetic influence of the Rudraksha beads, combined with the variety of precious gems, are made all the more significant by your handpicked selection.
At the workshop’s end, we sit with a Balinese priest to bless our Rudraksha Malas and activate them.

Join this joyful and meaningful workshop hosted by Aum Rudraksha Design at The Yoga Barn.

About the teacher
Aum Rudraksha Design
India / Indonesia

Bringing to the world of today the wisdom and power of the ancient sages in the form of contemporary Malas. Inspired by Hindu spirituality, guided by Papaji (H.W.L. Poonjaji) and created by Soma Temple, “Aum Rudraksha Designs” was born in 2003 on the beautiful and magical island of Bali, Indonesia.

More than 20 years ago in India, well-known teacher Papaji told Soma that because she lived so close to the source of the highest quality Rudraksha beads in the world, her Dharma (destiny) was to spread them to the western world. Already used for centuries by Hindus and Buddhists, Papaji believed that because of the pure power of the Rudrakshas themselves, “The world would be at peace if everyone was wearing them”

Soma’s life-changing journey had only just begun…

We begin as a hobby of working with Rudraksha beads and now have distributors worldwide and supply more than 60 stores on five different continents. We have a fantastic team of forward-thinking people who wake up every morning doing what they love.

Our vision is that we will elevate our partners, customers, suppliers, and neighbors to create positive change around us.

Our Rudraksha seeds are organic and locally grown in our plantations in Indonesia.

We have taken Papaji’s message literally and are doing what we can to spread these sacred objects wherever possible. As human beings and a company, we are dedicated to living in awareness and truth. Our main goal is to encourage peace and love amongst all the people of this world. A strong message of ours is “sharing is caring” and that what we do in this life impacts our eternal karma. With this message in mind, we are happy to share 20% of our profits with those we feel need it most. We are an eco-friendly and sustainable company based on the principle that we are all ONE energy and must look out for Mother Earth and one another.

Let us entice you with our Mala creations or collaborate in bringing your own ideas to life. May we unify to share the healing energy of these rare and sacred beads. May they help you to abide in and act from the one true heart of pure consciousness.
