This comprehensive program covers a range of topics, including daily chanting, vocal techniques, devotional practices, the history of Kirtan, and exploration of various chant styles. Participants engage in group chanting experiences, learn breath control, Bhakti philosophy, and receive hands-on training in musical arrangements, including harmonium, for both beginners and experienced students. The curriculum also includes percussion workshops and mantra meditation techniques. Students are grouped based on their skill levels to ensure personalized and effective learning.

About the teacher
Punnu Wasu

Punnu Wasu is an Indian singer, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher deeply rooted in kirtan and spiritual practices. Growing up in India, he began his musical journey at age 5, learning harmonium and vocals from his father, a respected kirtan singer. His passion for music and spirituality grew as he studied Hindustani classical music and various instruments under renowned teachers.

Today, Punnu performs worldwide, offering a unique blend of Kirtan, Xtatic Kirtan, Indian Fusion, Classical music, Sufi, Bollywood, and world music. His soulful voice and dynamic style captivate audiences. As a dedicated teacher, he leads his Kirtan and Sound Healing Academy and is featured in the documentary The Power of Mantra, highlighting the transformative power of sound and mantra.

Beyond music, Punnu has devoted his life to yoga, meditation, and holistic healing practices, beginning his journey as a young teenager under the guidance of masters throughout India and beyond. He shares his profound knowledge through meditation teacher trainings and advanced trainings, guiding students toward deeper spiritual growth and the transformative benefits of meditation.

With over 30 years of experience, Punnu is also a Grand Master in Usui and Karuna Reiki, offering private Reiki sessions and trainings worldwide. His holistic approach integrates spiritual counselling and variousholistic healingmethods, ensuring a comprehensive path to well-being.

A lifelong learner, Punnu has been teaching at The Yoga Barn in Bali since 2012 and is now based in Bali and Switzerland. Through his music, teachings, and compassionate presence, he unites spirituality, healing, and music, inspiring profound transformation in those he touches.
