Wayan Viqtim
Indonesia

As a Balinese yoga teacher, Wayan Viqtim brings the rich tradition and deep spiritual connection of Bali into her yoga practice, offering a unique and authentic experience for her students. Since beginning her yoga journey in 2009, she has dedicated herself to mastering various styles and techniques that promote balance in both body and mind.

Her teaching career began at Yoga Barn in 2017, where she completed a 200-hour Hatha Vinyasa Yin teacher training. She further enhanced her skills with a Fly High Yoga certification from Ubud Yoga Center in 2018, followed by an intensive 300-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa training in Rishikesh. These diverse experiences have shaped her teaching style, combining dynamic movement with mindfulness and precise alignment.

In 2021, Wayan expanded her expertise by completing sound healing training, incorporating the healing power of sound and vibration into her meditation practices, offering students a holistic and immersive experience.

Currently teaching full-time in Uluwatu, southern Bali, Wayan specializes in Ashtanga, Fly High Yoga, Hatha, and Vinyasa. She is excited to return to Yoga Barn, where her teaching journey first began, and to share her passion, enriched by her Balinese roots, with her students.

I have questions about this training – where can I get more information?

All questions regarding the training should be directed to the teacher that is offering the training.  The curriculum, course content and itinerary are organized by the teacher — not The Yoga Barn.

What’s the difference between a 200-hour and a 300-hour YTT program?

Will I be able to teach yoga after completing YTT?

Yes, YTT is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to teach yoga. After successful completion and certification, you can begin teaching.

What should I look for in a YTT program?

Consider factors like the program’s reputation, curriculum, location, instructors, and whether it aligns with your goals and interests.

What happens after YTT is completed?

After YTT, many instructors continue to deepen their practice, gain teaching experience, and pursue further education or specialized training.

Can I teach internationally with my YTT certification?

In many cases, yes, but requirements can vary by country. It’s essential to research the specific regulations and visa requirements.
