Mystical Live-Electronic Hybrid Set by Uyanga Bold & Bansara
Uyanga Bold is a Mongolian vocal artist, known for her otherworldly chameleonic voice that transcends borders and time. She draws from the rich sounds of Mongolian long song and throat singing, Western opera, Eastern European folk, North Indian classical, indigenous sacred and healing icaros, and global electronic music. Bansara (Josh Geisler) is a New York based multi-instrumentalist who plays the Bansuri (North Indian bamboo) and Native American flutes, guitar, keyboards, percussion, and electronics. His pedigree also includes extensive studies in India with Bansuri legend Pandit Raghunath Seth and Sarod Maestro Pandit Vikash Maharaj, as well as a degree in Music Production and Engineering from Berklee College of Music. Uyanga x Bansara is a duo that explores atmospheric ethnic fusion with downtempo grooves, world flutes, and voice to explore the intersection of nature and technology, form and freedom, male and female, time and timelessness. Their improvisations are colored by influences from their extensive travels and varied music careers.

A sacred space where prayers are expressed through the power of song and dance, the cacao ceremony is the heart of this intentional gathering. We will embark on a journey of connection and heart-opening through the ceremonial use of Cacao, known as “the elixir of the Gods”; a plant medicine cherished for millennia across Central and South America. International-touring musician and composer Pao Pamaki is well-respected in Ubud for the power and intention behind her music and space-holding. Sarasvati Dasi has a 20+ year history of kirtan performance with an angelic voice and violin.

After first traveling in India in 2005, Tikki Masala was inspired by the deep flavors of authentic Indian classical music. As both a DJ and music producer, he blends the sounds of Indian classical instruments and mantras with beats, synthesizers, drums and percussion. After some time, the music evolved to world beat, tribal, ethno, downtempo, native beats, global bass, and electronic fusion dance music with influences from all over the world. Tikki DJs a variety of genres and artists, and he includes many of his own productions into his sets. His eclectic sets brings dancers into a trance through immaculate sonic selections and classic ecstatic dance emotional wave journeys.

Ryan Narayan (NRYN) is a music producer and DJ from the USA. A lifelong musician with innumerable influences, NRYN sculpts DJ sets to fit the specific time and place of the party – matching the aesthetics and elevating the mood. Bass, house, afro, latin, hiphop, and downtempo are all well-developed sonic signatures in his crates. He currently lives in Bali where he creates conscious events for celebration, DJs ecstatic dance, and hosts hiphop tea ceremonies with the CulCha Collective.
