Spoken words of poetry, storytelling, acapella, song, comedy and more are presented by professional wordsmiths and first-timers on the mic. The evening is warmed up and concluded by classic and contemporary soul music from acclaimed DJs who keep the atmosphere ripe for conversation and dancing.

We putting out a collective prompt for all who will join and take the mic to share words of inspiration that has come to you in relation to honoring the ancestral spirits (whatever that means for you) and/or words in relation to the restoration of balance and harmony in life (i.e. “the victory over adharma/evil”).
