Punnu Wasu is an Indian singer, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher deeply rooted in kirtan and spiritual practices. Growing up in India, he began his musical journey at age 5, learning harmonium and vocals from his father, a respected kirtan singer. His passion for music and spirituality grew as he studied Hindustani classical music and various instruments under renowned teachers.
Today, Punnu performs worldwide, offering a unique blend of Kirtan, Xtatic Kirtan, Indian Fusion, Classical music, Sufi, Bollywood, and world music. His soulful voice and dynamic style captivate audiences. As a dedicated teacher, he leads his Kirtan and Sound Healing Academy and is featured in the documentary The Power of Mantra, highlighting the transformative power of sound and mantra.
Beyond music, Punnu has devoted his life to yoga, meditation, and holistic healing practices, beginning his journey as a young teenager under the guidance of masters throughout India and beyond.
